What information does Payee Intelligence validate?

Validation is based on the country and currency of each payment. Depending on the destination, this includes:

  • Local account identifiers (IBAN, CLABE, IFSC, and others)
  • Routing and clearing codes
  • Tax identification numbers
  • Beneficiary contact and address details
  • Any other field required by the destination banking network

How does the payee experience work?

Payees receive a secure email invitation and complete their banking details through a self-service portal. The portal prompts for exactly the information required for their country and currency. Payees can update their details over time and track payment status through a cross-border tracker, without involving your team.

Why do international payments fail?

International payments most commonly fail because required banking information is missing, incomplete, or incorrectly formatted. Different countries require different payment details, such as IBANs, IFSC codes, CLABE numbers, routing codes, tax IDs, or beneficiary information.
